Massive chart creation with step relatives

I am looking to create a chart of everyone in one family. We're having a family reunion and the audience is everyone who shares my great-great grandfather.

I was able to basically do that by using the default Relative Chart with me as the source. This gives me people up the tree and down the tree with all the branches I’m looking for. There are more than 700 names that match that and some of the charts I've created are almost 25' wide!

The ‘issue’ I’m having is including people who are not technically related (i.e. step relatives). For instance, my sister married a man who had a daughter from a previous marriage (included in my family file) and she has a daughter (my step great-niece). I can’t figure out any way to get that branch to show on this tree.

I know there is the Everybody Chart, but that’s way more people than I need as it has all of my wife’s family and for this purpose, we don’t need that. My file has more than 1,100 names so trying to trim that would be a lot.

Reunion support suggested (thanks Deb!) to mark the people I want and use the Everybody Chart with just marked people. That mostly works, but the layout of the everyone chart is not great because it doesn't draw lines between the branches for spouses. For instance, in the example above, my sister's husband is listed in her box, but then there is a separate box for him elsewhere for his parents and siblings.

So, I thought I would ask here if there is a way, short of manually creating mini charts and Frankenstein-ing a massive chart, to export with the layout of the Relative Chart with all branches for all people.

    Thanks in advance!

When no line is drawn automatically, you can manually draw lines on the chart to connect the subcharts to the appropriate place on the chart. To add connecting lines, choose Edit -> Add Line. The line will appear. This line can be moved to an appropriate position on the chart. The length and width of the line can be adjusted accordingly. Information on how to do so can be found in the manual by searching for "add line." To access the manual, choose Help -> Contents.
