The ReunionTalk forum was taken off-line by hackers on July 27, 2026. This hack was made possible by a vulnerability in the vBulletin software that we use to run the ReunionTalk forum. Attempts to restore ReunionTalk have resulted in more hackings due to this same vulnerability.
The solution is to upgrade to the most recent version of vBulletin - which sounds simple on the surface, but since the ReunionTalk site has been compromised we have requested (and paid for) assistance from vBulletin technicians to help us with the upgrade.
This vBulletin vulnerability is widespread and affects many forums on the web, not just ReunionTalk - which probably explains why it is taking so long to get the requested upgrade help from the technicians at vBulletin.
