All events for one year

Is there a way to display all events that happened in a particular year?

One approach is using Lists > Events > With dates within a range, but be aware that there is a catch. An event date (or the sort date for a custom date) that is only the year will sort before 1 Jan of that year and not fall within a 1 Jan to 31 Dec range. If you have many of these it is usually better to set the Earliest date to 31 Dec of the previous year. You might get a few unwanted records from that date but you would pick up more that you would have missed.
