    Printer problem

I have a printer problem. I had an HP 8940 inkjet printer for nearly 2 years. I am using the HP program that monitors my ink level and ships me ink when needed.
Since my printer broke I we to HP online and ordered a new printer, a 9120 inkjet. I cannot get it to print. It’s on my WiFi but won’t print. My OS is Mac OS Tahoe 26.2.
Reunion runs only on Mac OS so I would like to know what brand of printer people with Mac’s use. I really don’t care about color so a small laser printer would be great.
    Thank you so much.

Per your description, the problem is not the printer or Reunion. It's strictly the WiFi connection. Do you have more than one WiFi network available? Check to assure that both the Mac and the printer are on the same network. This is not an uncommon problem. Possibilities: Picked up a neighbor's non-password WiFi, picked up provider's open WiFi network, etc... It's usually the computer that has picked up on that other network.

Personal example: I restart the Mac every Monday. Sometimes I can't print or send music to my Apple speakers. I find that, during the restart, the Mac connected to the Xfinity network while the devices were still on my personal WiFi network.

If this is the case for you, click on the fan icon in the upper dock and choose your own network. Normally, just works. Occasionally, a restart may be needed.
