Reunion not in 'apps syncing with iCloud'

Apologies if this has been asked before. I have looked and can't find an answer. I have a newish MacBook Air with iCloud Drive enabled, and an older MacBook Pro, also enabled for iCloud, with the same settings where there is a choice.
On the MacBook Air, Reunion was automatically in my list of apps synching with iCloud. But it is not shown in the MacBook Pro list. There doesn't seem to be any way to include it in iCloud sync. Can anyone help please? (In fact there are only a few apps that are syncing, and I don't have a choice to add any)

This is a weird one! Not all third party app developers make use of the setting that will cause their app to show on this list. Reunion doesn't show on my list but syncs quite perfectly with two Macs and three iOS devices in my mix. I have maybe 10-15 apps that synch via iCloud and they synch just fine while not showing on this list.

Adding syncing is normally a function of the app....not the OS. For clarity about your question.... Are you simply concerned that the app doesn't show on a list? Or are you having actual synching problems? If you are having synching problems with Reunion, it would be a good first step to review information in the Help file. See the attachment.

Thanks Bob.. well, Reunion 'Sharing family files over iCloud' is a new one on me!! How did I miss that I wonder. I assumed files on two devices just synced to iCloud as documents etc do.. I have only recently though had two Macs.. I was using an iPad before and of course that is an iOS device.
Anyway, I think that might be the issue.. but I thought it was because the app wasn't showing in the 'app sharing list'. I have Word installed and that isn't showing in the list either and isn't syncing .... at least not reliably.. so I added 2+2 and made 6!!
Do you mind if I ask sorry (it's not a Reunion specific question) do I need to be careful about closing apps like Reunion (and Word) before opening on another device? With Word, I was wondering if that was the problem.. I either end up with unsaved changes or.. bizarrely .. two versions of my document. As I am just updating my Reunion files after a long period of resolving errors in my Tree, I really want Reunion to be in synch on both devices. I probably won't use it on the iPad anymore so that isn't an issue.
      Thank you, Jane

As for Word, Excel, PowerPoint... the standard individual license allows install on two computers. I'm not familiar with what would be the best way to synch (mostly because I use Pages, Numbers and Keynote).

The Reunion license allows two installs also. Properly installed, if Reunion is open on Mac #1 and you try to open it on Mac #2, you will get a dialog box saying so and clicking on the button will both reach out to Mac #1 and close Reunion AND open it on Mac #2. For information, look at these two pages: https://www.leisterpro.com/doc/v14/q...ltiplemacs.php AND https://www.leisterpro.com/doc/v14/q...ovingFiles.php. Caveat: It appears that the first of those may need iCloud instructions added.
