How can I quickly determine which 'island' a person belongs to in Reunion? Manually checking each island for the person's name is not a practical option.

To which "Island" belongs a person

I had to look hard for this, but it seems it can be done.
1. Make sure you have the Islands Sidebar activated
2. From within the family view, click the person pop-up flag in top right of the person.
3. From this pop up choose "Show in Sidebar"
This should now show the person's island and related details in the bottom half of the island's sidebar.

This is a little tangential to the OP's question, but suppose I have two people with the same name but different birth/baptism dates. Each is in a different island and it becomes obvious that each is in the "wrong" island and should change places.
Is there any way to:
a. select a person in one island and use that person to create a new island. This would also remove them from their current island.
b. drag and drop a selected person into another island.
The alternative is to screeshot each person and manually amend their details whilst maintaining them in the same island. Thus the person's name would remain the same but their birth/baptism date would change as would any attached notes. Doable but tedious.
Early 18C in the UK they used the same given name across several generations, making it difficult to determine who belongs where. Americans being more practical used, Fred 1, Fred 2 etc. Much clearer

If I'm understanding your scenario correctly, I would drag both into the clipboard and then drag each to the island they belong in. P.S. This very old American has yet to meet anyone with a number as part of their name.Bob White, Mac Nut Since 1985, Reunion Nut Since 1991
Computer Guy Since 1966 - Happy Octogenerian
iMac/MacBookAir M4 - iPhone/iPadPro - Reunion14 & RT

Many thanks Bob. It's something I would never have thought of.
Perhaps this very old Englishman's memory plays him false, but as I recall it occured in some Hollywood films which featured (Eg) Joe Bloggs the third. I took it as American practice, it's certainly much easier than trying to figure out several generations of Joshua and who belongs where.
If I might prevail on you again.... In this particular file I have created a series of Islands each composed of people who "May" be related to those on the main stem. Those in each island are related to each other but not necessarily to those in the main stem. Once a connection to the main stem can be verified, I would like to incorporate those in the island into the main stem.
Is there a way of selecting an island and then exporting it (and only that one) to the main stem? Possibly by GEDCOM?
