For some reason, I can see some mulitple spouses in tree view and some others not. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I am using Reunion 14. I want to be able to show children of married in spouses (spouses who have children from previous marriages) on the tree view or in the Charts I produce. Do I have to show them as adopted to make them appear? Even if Reunion cannot show the children, I would think at least it could show the new or former spouse

Multiple marriages don't always show on Tree view or in Charts

I figured out how to answer my own question! DOH! I can see multiple marriages for descendants of the original family but not different marriages of "married in" spouses. As long as I can remember that for the future, I should be fine. Sorry to have bothered others of you on this probably standard question.

I have found another solution. Use the Everybody Chart.
But first Mark the people you want:
...(a) Select the most senior ancestor you want on the chart.
...(b) Set the number of Descendant generations that you want to see.
...(c) Set the option to 'Unmark everybody first'
...(d) Set the 'Mark source couple' option,
...(e) Set the mark spouses option
...(f) Set the Mark parents of spouses option
...You can experiment with (e) and (f) to see which suits your purpose
Exit Mark and go to Chart Everybody
Start with the default settings.
Click 'Create Chart'. You may not like the resulting layout but you can move and align the boxes as you wish.
Some minor problems with Everybody chart:
1. Selection of single boxes is difficult, you have to slide up onto them,
2. The Grid will not turn itself off, in the Chart Window tab,
3. Some of the name fields in the boxes have a Grid reference placed at their right. Might this be a leftover from testing?
Otherwise is is a quick method of getting all of multiple spouses and children in.
