    ReunionTalk Slow

Reunion Talk is getting slower day by day to first open, and sometimes also to move from Forum to Forum. Other sites of comparable or greater complexity, such as BBC, working normally.

Try clearing cache in Safari (or whichever browser you use).

Thanks, Bob, but that looks a little drastic, when every other site works OK.

Actually, it is something that should be done every so often. It's not drastic at all and only takes a minute or less.

The one site only thing is odd. When Safari starts slowing a little for me, it is consistent through all websites. If you are going to the site from a bookmark, one trick that often works for single site problems is to delete the site's URL from your bookmarks, go to the site by manually entering the URL and re-bookmarking it afterward. Stored bookmarks, like any other stored text, can get corrupted and that may be what is going on.

Thanks, Bob—I'll try that: though the problem has gone away all on its own!
Yes, Rupert, I'm very well, and I hope you are too.
            Happy Christmas to you both.

I just ran across something that might be related to the slowness problem. Check out this article about the Chrome browser at https://www.imore.com/google-chromes...ac-performance.

Ahhhh -- thank you, Bob White. That's useful for me! I'll see if it helps my non-Reunion slowness instances.
