    Importing Sources into TNG

I've been successful in setting up and importing my Gedcom into TNG, and also tweaking events and such. (I've found this very useful in cleaning up dirty data!).

Can't quite figure out how to get some of the specific source fields to work properly once they get to TNG, especially those related to certain types of sources: PERI, TYPE, PAGE, etc.

    Thanks,
    David

As long as those source fields have a unique GEDCOM tag they should be imported by TNG with no problems.

compared to the source it represents from Reunion.

B7E5ABBF-4EA6-4ECE-99ED-59AA19427353.jpegThanks very much. One more question. In line citations in Notes donít appear in the text, but all lined up at the end. Do you know a way to have them remain in the note text?

There is no way to get the citations into the text - this is because of how GEDCOM works.

You can if you want to write something like [Source 346] immediately before you put the citation to Source 346. the [Source 346] will remain in place in the string of text. But TNG renumbers the sources, so you won't see 346 as a citation number at the end of the text, but it will be the first item in the quoted source in the TNG list at the end.
