Printing relative charts on a continuous roll of paper

Has anyone had luck in using a home printer and a continuous roll of paper to print genealogy charts? I've done the printing on 8.5 x 11 and taping them together but I'd rather use a roll of paper.

It all depends upon your printer.
Can you feed continuous paper? Do you have, or can buy, a roll?
If so, do you have the option, in your print menu, to go to paper size-->custom size? If so, set to infinity.
