Changing from Dropbox to iCloud - process question

    MacBook Pro 2021
    Apple M1 Pro Chip
    Sequoia 15.7.7
    Reunion 14.0
also occasionally use Reunion on an iPad and on my iPhone

I have multiple cloud storage locations and want to move files off Dropbox to iCloud. (I've read people's comments on pros and cons, so I don't need that information.)

Is this what I do? I want to make sure so I don't royally mess something up.

    Menu:
    File/Sharing Status/Reset Sharing...

Then I click on Reset Sharing.
I make sure Dropbox has synced from whatever changes I recently made (I checked the modified date and time and it looks current)
Next time I open Reunion, I go back to this menu but this time tell it to sync to iCloud.

    Is that right?

    Just call me nervous!

You forgot Step 0: Make a backup of everything. Put it on a thumb drive or somewhere safe.

After that, your logic makes sense. Make sure your date is updated/synced, move it to the new location, then use Reunion Settings -> Folders to point to your new locations.

Ah, Step 0, the most important of all. Thanks for that, KirkS!

I made the move after the back-up.
Reunion was able to find linked multimedia quickly. For the linked source media, so far it seems to be able to find them after I manually linked the first one.
