Dropbox warning!

I downloaded Dropbox 183.4.7058 earlier today and all H broke loose with constant fileproviderctl crashs.
Posted on their Community forums, and fairly shortly, a Dropbox rep, Jay, answered with a link to revert to Dropbox 182.4.6427.

That solved the crashes. Either do not update or find the 1824.6427 version. I tried to attach the .dmg file, but this forum does not allow.

Update: Somewhere between updating to OS 14 Sonoma and now, Dropbox self updated to 183.4.7058. It now works well. Alarm called off, but I hope it saved somebody the grief I had!
