    Viewing Media in ReunionTouch

Currently the thumbnails generated for census documents in ReunionTouch results in very blocky text, not very readable when I zoom in.

In Reunion I have reset my media to “best” and “1200”. Then I have reset the sharing with Dropbox. But that did not really help the readability of census data.

Any I missing any tricks in Reunion or ReunionTouch?

Thumbnails are small files by design. They are meant to be used to quickly identify the image, like an icon in Photos, not to be zoomed up. You will need to open the original high-resolution image file on your Mac to clearly read documents such as a Census schedule. As I understand it, ReunionTouch only includes thumbnails since it can't directly access files on your Mac, but if your images are stored in Dropbox and you have the Dropbox app on your iPhone or iPad, you can access the original file in your Dropbox and zoom it up, if necessary.

Might be the resolution of the original on your Mac is not so high.
Did a test: added a census, thumbs 1200, best.
This is what I see on my iPad, zoomed max. and in my opinion not too bad, enough for normal reading.
Oeps ... sample file not uploaded
PS The original file is NOT in Dropbox, only local on my iMac

Just another try, (first try: file was too big)

          Thanks Frans.

This is not a critical issue, I just wanted to see if I had missed any steps. Moving my files to Dropbox is an option but then again not all locations have access to WiFi.

I will also review the resolution of my originals as you suggest.
