unable to complete the updating file on iPad Pro

I've copied my current version of my family file to iCloud, in ReunionTouch on the iPad I select the new family file, when it is downloaded i get the message about locating a sync file, I don't know where or what that is

Follow up the sync option wanted a file located in the ReunionTouch Remote Sharing folder I didn't have one so I created it, I dragged my family file to that folder on the iCloud Drive, tried locating the file to sync, RT finds the folder empty.

Finally pushing all the right buttons and things I was able to update the family file on my iPad
