Adding multiple files to one source - yay or nay?

Hi, I have three files relating to a burial.

    1 photo of gravestone
    2 scan of burial certificate
3 Text info taken from Ancestry

Would you record them as three different sources, or add the three files to just one source?

My instinct is to add the three to just one main source, but I'm wondering if I may have overlooked a reason for not doing this.

    Thanks

I would make them 3 different sources, so that each source can uniquely identify where that bit of information came from.

      That makes sense, thank you.

I've added three separate URLs. Do you think this works or makes it more confusing?

I think it would be less confusing if there were 3 different sources, not one source pointing in 3 different directions.

There is no practical limit on the number of sources you can have, so you don't have to be cheap with their use.

I think that's part of it, I'm possibly trying to avoid having too many sources that become overwhelming. If I split them into three sources, what's the best way to reference them to each other? Is there a specific way to do this or would you just write it in the free form text?

Connect the three source citation numbers to the same burial event or connect them each to a statement about what they are showing in Notes. THAT is how the sources are connected to each other about the same event.
