I updated a Reunion 12 file with images is 3.4MB to Reunion 14 without images is 3.8MB. I don't see how it's so large. There's about 2,500 records.

I am not sure of your question? But, I have a lot of family files, most of which are just drafts of parts of trees or downloaded gedcoms; the largest are hundreds of MB. If your question is whether the size changes performance, I have not seen that. If your question is whether that size is unusual, I would say not.Derrick

My familyfile with 2800 people is 9.6MB.
Maybe I have more notes/text than you.
