Color of Names

Why do some (not all) names appear "grayed out" as shown in the attached Picture.
I have this color set "if" the person has no partner. This person (Walter) does and l have tha marriage entered

My guess is you are seeing what you are because ABBOTT, Walter Albert 1 does not have parents of his own entered into the famliy file. This setting is found in the Reunion -> Settings -> Family View -> Parents panel. See the color selected for "Parents without parents."
