When to check the "Export as EVEN" gedcom tag

What are the circumstances under which you should checkmark "Export as EVEN" when you create a new event? (This is in Settings > Fields > Person > Events.)

I discovered that Reunion does not have built-in events for WILL (will) or PROB (probate), which are standard GEDCOM events. In Reunion, if I create Person Events for these GEDCOM tags, I think you do NOT check the "Export as EVEN" box ... but is that correct?

If you want to export an event using the GEDCOM tag EVEN or TYPE, check that "Export as EVEN" box. Additional information about this can be found in the manual by searching for "export gedcom tag." See this item...
GEDCOM Tag, Person and Family Fields
    ...in the Search Results.

I hope you find this helpful

It's not a matter of "wanting" to export an event using EVEN/TYPE. It's whether or not I should:

If the GEDCOM tags that I want to add to Reunion are valid GEDCOM tags (WILL and PROB) ... it seems to me that the "Export as EVEN" checkbox should NOT be checked. I'm asking if that is correct.

None of the default set of built-in GEDCOM tags in Reunion 14 have that box checked.

Is "Export as EVEN" only necessitated when you create a custom (user-defined) tag (one that does not exist in the GEDCOM standard)?
