Removing Flags

I know how to remove a flag in a certain person, but I have a list of possible flags I have used, and I want to remove some of them from the list, there are two buttons, one for making I new flag, one for removing flags, but the latter is greyed out?

If I'm understanding you correctly, you need to go into Settings, Field Settings, and from the Events Facts Notes FLAGS section, choose the the flag from the list on the left and remove it.
