    iCloud Drive and iCloud setup

After years of using Dropbox, I am switching to iCloud Drive for saving my docs...files...and pictures...but do have a question...
From the beginning, I've used Reunion to input family and individual data, sources, and stories in Reunion. I have included pics too, but have found that pictures can "disappear," requiring reentry. I have also, kept family and individual files, configured as in Reunion. Each person then has their basic details, but also files for docs, pictures. The system has served me well. Then, of course, I have all hard copies saved in archival slips and boxes.

Reading the Reunion help section, it looks like the "Documents" folder is the place for all pics, docs, notes, family files, and notes, and then it all goes into iCloud Drive ?

    Correct?
    Thanks much,
    Bonnie Samuel

I've been using "Sync" but on occasion I too have found images can disapear. They can certainly become detached from the person they refer to.

It would be helpful if someone - possibly the Devs - could set out best practice for syncing across devices. Maybe DropBox is the only recommended means of syncing across devices especially if you're using an iPad but it would be helpful to know.

At least Reunion appears to offer us a choice unlike some of the others.
