Connecting 2 people by marriage who are already in the family tree?

How can I connect two people by marriage, both of whom are already in my family tree without having one of their names listed twice?

The manual has a whole section on Marrying Two People Who Were Entered Separately, but basically just navigate to the family card of one of the people, filter the People sidebar for the mate's name, then drag the mate's name from the sidebar list to the spouse button on the family card.

I should have mentioned: If this will not be the first marriage for the person (family card already has a spouse) then drag the new mate's name from the sidebar to the person's button, not the already occupied spouse button.

Alternative method: Click on the + sign above the picture spot. That gives you a menu that contains three different methods to Add New Spouse.
