I have version 14 active in my computer, but have lost the ability to generate a gedcom. How do I get it back?

To export a GEDCOM file, open your family file to any family view. Then, choose File -> Export -> GEDCOM and select the appropriate options in that window. Afterward, click "Export" and select the location where you want to save that GEDCOM file and name the exported file. Finally, click Export.
If this is not working for you, specifically what happens when you follow these steps? Also, which part of this process does not work for you?Deb Stuller

Thanks Deb. I guess my problem is broader than producing GEDCOMs which I did produce just now. Much earlier this year I experienced a problem downloading vs 14 to my computer. In the end, my son downloaded vs 14 to his computer and since then I send him the GEDCOMs and he uploads to Reunion. But I also show Reunion 14.app in my application folder (created July 4,2025) which opens the app on my computer. It is fully functional to work with. I received an email on Nov. 26 from Leister telling me to download 14 again, which I did, but I still cannot upload my gedcom file to the Reunion site.
Does the fact that my son is presently doing the uploading have anything to do with this problem?

No. I think the best way to move forward in resolving the problem you're seeing is for us to do a live chat/screen sharing session. This would allow me (or another support person) to see your screen and assist you in that way. Also, during the screen sharing, you would be able to speak to the support person using the mic on your Mac.
If you would like to do this, see this web page...
...for information on how to prepare on your end for the screen sharing.
Screen sharing is available during our support hours, which are normally between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through Friday. To start a "live chat," go to the web page above during that time period (or to various other pages of our web site) and click on the blue "Live Chat With Us!" button. Then, once in the live chat, a screen sharing session can be started.
Thanks
