Find relationship

I am working on a study on marriage dispensations according to canon law, involving thousands of cases.

In "Find Relationship" Reunion gives me the closest relationship, i.e. when they are related through their grandparents, another relationship through g-g-grandparents is not given.

I can make a Bowtie chart (see attachment), but I'd rather have a Find Relationship chart.

Any solution?

Try beginning at the family view of married couple who is blood-related and choose Find (in the navbar on the left) and select Find Relationship. Afterward, if the names of that couple are not in the Person 1 and Person 2 fields, add them. Then, if a chart showing how they are related does not automatically appear, click Find Relationship. (If they are related in multiple ways, you should see an option to chart the next relationship found.) Additional information about using Find > Find Relationship feature can be found in the manual by searching for "find relationship." To access the manual, choose Help -> Contents.

I will try to explain with a better example what I meant in my earlier message.

Adrianus VARENDONCK and Maria Amelberga VARENDONCK share the same grandparents on their fathers side, in magenta in the attached bowtie chart.

But they also share the same g-g-grandparents, still on his father’s side, but on her mother's side (in red in the Bowtie chart).

They even share another set of g-g-grandparents (in yellow in the Bowtie chart).

In Canon Law language: "consanguinitas in secundo gradu ex una & in duplice quarto gradu etiam consanguinitas ex altera”.

Unfortunately, Find Relationship gives only the closest relationship, the one in, according to Canon Law, the second degree, i.e. the common grandparents.

Out of curiosity, do you see the same results in the Find > Relationship panel if you switch "Person 1" and "Person 2," moving Maria to the Person 1 position and Adrianus to Person 2?
