    Ancestor who married his step-sister?

How do you enter an ancestor who married his step-sister? Any help greatly appreciated?

Enter all info from parents, and then add, from sidebar, the adopted daughter (as status, mark her adopted). Next, add marriage for ancestor and add spouse from sidebar.
That must have been quite a family!

Yes, I would say a little strange......I did what to said and listed the step-sister as being adopted, but now it is showing that she had the same father, as the ancestor she married. Is there anyway that I could list her bio dad on the family page?

As being adopted, technically he IS her father, just not the only father.
Go to her page, click the small upside down V top right corner of her name 'block'
Select parents and select the one you prefer.

Thank you so much! At least they weren't related by blood!

Enter the step-sister as the child of her parents, and then link her as the wife of her husband. Ie do everything just as you would normally.
I have quite a few people marrying their step siblings in my distant ancestry from Britain. Until 1907 it was totally legal in the UK and I believe even now it is legal under certain circumstances.
Where does the adopted statute come in? You don’t mention adoption in your original question.

"You don’t mention adoption in your original question."

The OP said 'step-sister'. That implies, at least in my interpretation, that she was adopted.

Dictionary says: Step-siblings are children born of two different families who have been joined by marriage. A male step-sibling is a stepbrother and a female is a stepsister. The step-siblings relationship is connected through law and is not a blood relation.
