Remove shadows in text for name fields

I am seeing a shadow in the text for the names. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to remove the shadowing effect.

The image below shows the text in Lucida Grande 16 point black. Note the white shadowing. The same shadowing appears for the text in parent's names.

Thanks for reporting what you are seeing. I am able to duplicate what you are seeing and will pass a note onto our engineering staff to check into fixing. It seems like the white shadow appears around the name for all darker button colors when the text is a darker color. Therefore, in the meantime, a workaround is to make the button color a lighter color in the Family View Settings / Miscellaneous panel.

Thank you. I might also report two other issues using the Family View Settings.

* When changing the background colors for male or female, the color change is applied immediately to the Couple but not to the Parents. One has to toggle something else to have the color change applied.

* When changing the Background Color for fields, all fields change color immediately except the Note title field.

Here is a snapshot that demonstrates both issues. I change the color for the male color field and for the field backgrounds.

Good catch. I can duplicate these and will pass them on as well to see what can be done to fix the problems.
