Shortcut or menu to obtain person ID

I am trying to retrieve the person ID and copy it to the clipboard for use in some automation steps, but can't find any obvious way to do this. For instance, I often save images to my computer using the person ID as an identifier i.e. PHO_4451_001 (where 4451 is the person ID). I can't find any way to robustly obtain the person ID.

Using keyboard keys "fp" will allow me to popup the find person dialogue, which allows me to copy the ID, but by defualt it only ever shows the male of the couple with no way to navigate to the female.

Does anyone know of a way to retrieve the person ID for an individual displayed on screen?

One idea - add the Person ID field to one of the Family Views "Under the Couple Buttons". The IDs will show on the family card under each spouse, and when clicked a dialog box will open with the ID number already selected. Just Cmd-C then paste wherever you want.

Adding the Person ID field "Inside the Couple Buttons" doesn't help with copying.

Thanks for the suggestion; that is a workaround for the lack of an actual shortcut and is what I'm doing currently. I've been able to automate this exact approach using Keyboard Maestro so that using a hotkey I can...

      1. Activate Reunion
      2. Click the Person ID
      3. Copy the resulting person ID to the clipboard

The issue I was having was how to automate whether I pick up the husband's or wife's person ID, but I have been able to resolve this now, so can do either. Keyboard Maestro is an amazing tool for this kind of stuff.

That said, it would be so much more robust and a lot less effort if there was an actual keyboard shortcut or similar to retrieve it.
