10 Generation colors is current max allowed for a tree, can this number be increased?

In the Chinese culture, generation Chinese characters are used to indicate what generation you are born in the family genealogy tree. Usually a family will have a poem or family motto including the characters for the generations in order. These generation characters recycle when you get to the end of the poem or mission statement.


In Reunion 14 app, is there a way that I can increase the max generation colors allowed from 10 to 12?

The limit of ten generation colors only applies to arranging the Preset scheme for Repeating colors. Once the chart has been drawn you can right click a box, choose Select Boxes > Generation then apply any color you want to that entire generation from the Box controls in the Tool panel at the left. It would take only a few moments to edit the box colors of the last two generations.
