    Can't open v.13

I have purchased v.14 and it is on my desktop. However, I can't get v.13 to open. How can I get v.14 operational? I am 92 years old and not computer literate. Help?

There is no need to start up Reunion 13 in order to convert your version 13 family file to be used in Reunion 14. But, Reunion 14 needs to be installed and started up. If this has not been done yet, I recommend watching the video tutorial, found here...

...for information about how to download and install the Reunion 14 upgrade.

Once Reunion 14 has been installed and appears in your Applications folder, open your Applications folder and double-click on the Reunion 14.app file. Then, when you see the prompt to enter your Reunion 14 User Name and License Code, enter the information provided with your purchase.

When you see the window prompting you to "Select a family file, chart file, or GEDCOM file," use that window to navigate to and select your version 13 family file.

    Finally, click "Open" and "Convert."

**Another way to convert your version 13 family file to be used in Reunion 14 is to search your Mac for files with the ".familyfile13" file extension. To do this search, open a Finder window and click in the search box in the upper-right corner of that Finder window. Then, enter...
    .familyfile13
    ...into the search box.
Afterward, click on "This Mac" in the upper-left portion of that search window.
Any family files created using Reunion 13 will be found by this search. Once your version 13 family file has been found, control-click (right-click) on it and select "Open With -> Reunion 14" from the menu that appears. And, finally, click "Convert."

I hope you find one of these methods helpful in getting up and running in Reunion 14
