New Free-Form Source Missing Assigned Fields

Hello:

I've assigned three fields to a Free Form source template to hold metadata-like info about the sources that I assign to this template. However, none of these fields appears when I add a source using this template. I can get them to appear by changing the source template to something else then back to Free Form, but I suspect this is not how it's supposed to work. According to the manual, assigned fields should appear when adding the source.

Can this be fixed in a future update?

Rather than modifying the "Free Form" template, create a new template and call is something like "Free Form A"

Thanks, Gregg. That works. I noticed I can't delete the "Free Form" template - it must be built-in? Is that why I couldn't assign any default fields?

Yes. Free Form is a permanent template.
