    "Share Family View" problem

    When I try to share the family view - Mail ; Preview/Print ; or Copy to Clipboard - the resulting file shows parents and children only. There is a blank space instead of the couple.
    Does this happen only to me, or is it a program glitch?
    Thank you.

    I'm not able to duplicate the problem you're seeing. And, to my knowledge, no other user has seen this issue. With that in mind, my first recommendation would be to open your family file and choose Help -> Check for Updates. If an updated build of Reunion 14 is available for download, follow the prompts to download and install it. Then, see if problems continue.

    Does this happen for you when trying to share other family views or is it limited to just trying to share a specific family view?

    Does this happen for you when trying to share a family view in a different family file?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks

      Thank you Deb, here is what I found:

      I have Reunion 14.0 (build:250331)

      This happens only in my main family file but on every views - I tested with another family file and it is fine.

      Thank you for your support.

        UPDATE:

        I closed and open the family file, quit and start Reunion several times. The result is that the 1st time I use the "Share Family View" after restart, all goes well. After that it seems to have a random behaviour, since I cannot find a pattern. Sometimes it crops the image. Here are 2 more images of the same family - converted to .jpeg to reduce size - being the complete one obtained immediately after close/open the family file.

          Since the problem is specific to that family file, I recomnmend you send that file to us to see what could be causing the problem in it. Information about how and where to send your family file is found here...

          After sending the family file, please do not do any editing in it until after hearing back from us. I will respond to you by email after we receive that file.

          Thanks

            Hi Deb,

            I seem to be able to re-produce this problem;

            in Reunion;
            I hit share family view button at bottom of page, select Mail, brings up email with "FamilyCard 1",
            if I open it (not sending to anyone) the image is exactly the same as the OP - no info shown for the couple.

            Never seen before as I have not used this facility.
