My family book project defaults to pdf when I export. There are areas of generated narrative text I'd like to edit, but I do not have a pdf editor for that. Suggestions?

Have had this question a few times from our Dutch users, but the Adobe app. for converting to MS Word is too expensive. The same with other pdf editors.
Perhaps that 'PDF toPages+' (available on Appstore) can do the job for you.
Have no experience with this app., might be other Reunion users or Leister has experience with this app ? ?
Don't know if the internal links are kept, and if converting back is possible, without loosing all the links

Here's one that is one the App Store and is free. I downloaded it several weeks ago and still looking at what it can do. It may be what Larry, Frans and Kevin need. Price is free. No hidden charges that I can see....

Hello Bob,
The main question of several Dutch users was to avoid 'orphans' and 'widows' at the end of the page
Looks great. Till yet I could not find the copy-paste in the 'Edit Text' function.
In the 'Home' you can copy some text (Select-Copy) and Paste that in the Edit mode.
The spacing between two rows become larger and bold words loose the font formatting. Might be that those function are 'hidden somewhere.
The underlining in the original pdf document is (after replacing some words in another part of the document, but on the same page) placed under other words. In the next page the underlining stays on correct place. This all need more investigation.

This may be useful: I regularly update my Book Reports that include two sections of narrative text not generated by Reunion. They were each originally composed by me in MS Word (for Mac), saved, exported as a .pdf, and inserted into the Book Report as new Custom Sections. This allows them to show up in the final .pdf's Table of Contents where I want them, and allows me to update the Register Report data, media, and indexes without redoing the custom sections each time. I have the footer set to add the updated date to each page of the full Book Report. If I do need to change something in the text of one of these custom sections, I go back to the Word doc, edit it, save and export it again as a .pdf and replace the old section.
