Publish family file to Google Docs or Dropbox?

I don't have a personal site to which I can upload a copy of a family file. Is is possible to use Google Docs or Dropbox that way?

Yes, you can upload a copy of your family file to Dropbox. Once it is there, the file can be shared by three devices that are each running Reunion or ReunionTouch.

The file can also be downloaded by anyone you give permission to to their own computer. They would have to have Reunion on their computer to use the file, however, and any changes they make will not be synched with the file on Dropbox.

If you make a web project from your family file and upload it to Dropbox, other people will not be able to use it like accessing a regular web site. Dropbox does not allow people to run web sites that way. Other people, who you give permission to, can download the web project to their hard drive and surf it like a normal web site, but they won't be able to do any searching that way because security systems in your computer don't allow downloaded programs to do searches.

I do not know what you can or cannot do with Google Docs except that you can't share the family file with other devices like you can in Dropbox. You can only share the family file with other devices with Dropbox or iCloud.
