    Chart colour printing issues

I have sent of two charts to a local printer in pdf format. Both prints have come back with differences to my home printer output.
One has an old black and white picture which was modified on Apple's photo software and prints out with an acceptable grey palette on my home system but the larger printed version comes out as sepia.
The other has a jpeg image inserted as a background to a descendants chart and is primarily green but prints yellow other colours are close enough.
The printer has suggested trying pdfX as a format but I cannot see that option.
Any suggestions to what I could do?
    Many thanks Mike

Mike, if you want, send me both and I'll have a look and see if I can spot the problems. I do a lot of work in Photoshop. My email address is gconetta@gmail.com and I've also been using Reunion for about 20 years.
