I want to upload a Gedom of my family file that has over 20,000 individuals, the web site where I want to upload it only allows a file of 10,000, what is the easiest way to reduce the size of my Gedom?

I want to upload a Gedom of my family file that has over 20,000 individuals, the web site where I want to upload it only allows a file of 10,000, what is the easiest way to reduce the size of my Gedom?

The best way to move forward would be to open your family file and mark only the branches or other groups of people that you would like to export, making sure the total number of marked entries is under 10,000. (This can be done using Reunion's Mark feature. Information about marking branches or other groups of people can be found in the manual by searching for "mark group." To access the manual, choose Help -> Contents or click on the "?" in the lower-left corner of just about any Reunion window.)

Afterward, select the option to export only marked people after choosing File -> Export -> GEDCOM.
