Will Reunion 13 be adopting the new Gedcom 7 version that was introduced at RootsTech 2022?

It is likely that we will eventually adopt the new standard, though we do not currently have a timeline, and any such timeline will largely depend on how the industry as a whole adopts the standard.

Is it possible that the adoption of a more modern form of data exchange like JSON may make GEDCOM 7 obsolete before the industry as a whole starts using it? Currently the GEDCOM X specification is being supplemented by xml and json extensions. https://www.familysearch.org/develop...pi/media-types. I wonder if there are any genealogy programs that write and read JSON files.
