Date modifiers in exported Gedcom files

I have found that my 'aft', 'bef', and 'circa', 'c' are converted to capitals when a Gedcom is exported from Reunion 13. Is there a way of preserving the case for these? (short of doing a find and replace action on the Gedcom file when produced).

The capitalization is required by the GEDCOM standard; there isn't a way to have Reunion not capitalize them in the export.

Doing a "Find and Replace" (e.g. via TextEdit) after the GEDCOM is produced would be the only option here, if the application you're importing the GEDCOM into isn't translating them into lower case.

Sorry I don't have better news,

This feels a bit like ancient technology here governing the standard, especially when Reunion correctly uses lower case for these. Find and Replace it is for now.
      Many thanks,
