Change Logs -- settings

I need to edit the "number of change logs that will be tracked". In the tutorial, it advises me to go to the Tools icon, it looks like a hammer, that is supposed to be on the lower left side of the screen. There is no hammer at that place on the screen on my Mac. Just a question mark. I've tried changing the view, but nothing I highlight seems to bring up the little hammer. Any ideas? Thank you so much.

To access that little hammer, open the Change Logs window by choosing Logs > Change Log...

When the Change Log window is open, you will see a hammer icon near the lower-left corner of the Change Log window....
