Moving boxes from one chart to another

If I'm working with three charts and moving some boxes manually from one to another to create a chart that Reunion can't create, is there a way to "ungroup" the new additions? The ungroup option in the menubar Object column seems to always be greyed out. Is there "a better way" or do I have to drag over only single boxes and redo each connecting line?

Also, I would love to be able to designate two or more unconnected boxes and have the program connect them instead of my fumbling around with little tiny lines. Should this go on the "wish list"?

Adding lines to existing boxes would be a wonderful wish list item, understanding that a pasted graphic does not contain any boxes as far as Reunion is concerned.

Reunion does the transfer as a PDF or TIFF graphic (depending on settings), and it's not disassembleable or editable by Reunion at the destination end. You can obtain a little more efficiency by shift-clicking all the boxes you want to transfer and then selecting Edit--Copy--Selected Objects from the main menu. Connecting lines will be included when pasted.

The problem with that is, whether you copy and paste or drag and drop, the "new" piece is impossible to "ungroup". The only other option then is to drag individual boxes over and then you're back to manually creating connection lines. <sigh>

I feel your pain, but two last workarounds to make the most of features that are currently in place would be:

1. Configure the positions of the boxes in the origin chart before copying so they'll be in the right places relative to one another when pasted into the destination chart.

2. Boxes can be added to a box with the Object>Add Box menu item. The connecting line adds itself, and then box contents can be copied and pasted.

Not ideal, but offered in the spirit of something is better than nothing.
