New people added to database not showing up on people list

I've just been adding new people to my database. The names are not showing up on the people list when I search for the names. I've never encountered this before. Rebooted my computer but same problem persists. Would appreciate any help to resolve this.

Are you searching for "last name, first name" in the People sidebar? If that is what you are already doing without success, try rebuilding cache files. This is done by choosing File -> Rebuild Cache Files and clicking Rebuild. (Note: in order to see that option in the File menu, the Family View needs to be open.)
