Version 13 upgrade

I upgraded from Version 12 to 13, but the upgrade process isn't complete because the license key for version 12 was not found. The license for version 12 is not included in About Reunion. I pasted in the key of the new version 13 that came with the download but it wasn't accepted. The newly downloaded version 13 installation should have recognized my version 12 in the process and simply upgraded. What to do?
