Family file not syncing on Mac Mini and iPad

My family file on my Mini M4 has 956 people. The same family file on my iPad has only 949 people. It should be (theoretically) syncing in iCloud. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

On the iPad, on the Welcome screen, choose "Open the Manual" then, in the list on the left, scroll down to Syncing. Check the information there to see if your problem will resolve.

Bob, thanks for your answer, but where do I find this "Manual" or even a Welcome screen.? It's an older 5th generation iPad running iOS 16 something if I remember correctly.

I have tried everything I can to get rid of the old family file including getting it out of the old Dropbox and replacing it with the proper family file. I cannot get the old Family file to stop opening.

.....but where do I find this "Manual" or even a Welcome screen.......If memory serves, you should be seeing the welcome screen each time you start ReunionTouch unless you have just a single file. My impression is that most users leave the JFK sample file on the device and, thus, have two or more files and see the Welcome screen.

I have tried everything I can to get rid of the old family......See #4 below. That may get you going. In case you don't know where Dropbox is on your Mac, the usual path is MacintoshHD > Users > YourName > Library > Dropbox. [/QUOTE]

Hope this helps. If not, hopefully someone who still uses Dropbox will help.

Sorry to be such a pain, but is there any way I can do everything with the family files on a USB stick on the iPad and forgetting about syncing? I could then manually sync the files later. Nothing seems to be working as it should. I'm wondering if ReunionTouch which has been on there for years might be corrupted and needing replaced.
