    Relatives wrong

Can anyone explain this, or how to fix it?

This couple shows as my 5x grandparents. They are not. You can also see that neither of their two children are my 4x grandparent. Also the dates would be way off.

If I set this Robert Henry as the 'Source', I do not show as his relative - it is only when I am the source.

If I set my grandfather as the source, Robert is still my relative. If I set my g-grandfather as the source, Robert is not my relative. Maybe there's a glitch there.

If I play around changing the source, I can find up the line where Robert continues to be related - until I look at the people in the second picture - John and Mary. Then we see that Robert Henry is John's father. Yet John is not one of his children in picture 1.
If I again make Robert the source, John is no longer his son.

My Reunion Touch app displays the same relationships.

I've tried Rebuild Cache Files with no difference. Is there another rebuild somewhere I'm not aware of?

    Thanks!

It looks like there is a bad or missing link in your file.

If you can send your family file to help@leisterpro.com, we can take a look at it.

      Hi Gregg,

Is there another way to fix this? Something I can do myself? First, it's too large to email - 173MB. Second, I'm not sure I trust email for a lot of private information about thousands of people.

The incorrectly marked records are not numerous, and I could likely just delete them and re-input them - if that will fix the issue.

If I export to e GEDCom file could I see the issue?

      Thanks
      Andre

Take a look at this page for alternative methods to send the file
