Is there a way to copy and paste the entire source and citation (combination of source + citation detail and free form text if used)? If there is I haven't found a way. I have been using a rather tedious work around by opening a report every time I want to do so - which is often.

The solution is many sources and minimum use of the detail field. In a typical example, say in a census, there may be six or more people in the same household. If your source is just that one page of the census, and an image attached, what do you need the detail field for? Sources copy easily, as I guess you know. -

Typically I do not use the citation detail field because it is too limited - except for books where it works well. Usually I just use a couple of fields and then the free-form text field, but I haven't found a way to copy and paste the combination of those elements without first creating a report. For example, I may want to copy the full source citation into a Google Sheet.Comment
