HOW DO I CREATE A GEDCOM FOR 1 PERSON & HIS DESCENDANTS FROM A FAMILY FILE OF 12000?

Having a brain freeze. When I select File->Export->GEDCOM I get "all people" preselected and marked. I just want to select one person and his descendants. Do I have to mark each and every one of his descendants to create a GEDCOM for him and his descendants? Thanks for your reply!

You can Mark all the descendants in a single function in the Mark pane.
