Changing fonts

How do I change the default font in creating charts. I am making multiple charts but the font reverts to default each time I create a new chart. I can change the individual chart using the tool box but I want to change it permanently. thankyou Cathy

Open/create a chart, then select one (just one) of the boxes in the chart. Change the font for that box, then select:

Object -> Save Default Box Attributes

Then close that chart and create a new one. The new chart (and any future charts) should use the selected font.
