links to media files in gedcom (Reunion->TNG)

I’m exporting a Reunion gedcom to TNG with links to media files (images only). Once in TNG, I see the media files I set up, but I also see a lot of other records for media files which I believe I had broken the links to in Reunion long ago. In the Reunion Multimedia Usage media report there are 14 image files that I recently attached to my tree and that I also see in TNG. But in TNG I see Media files that do not link to images and that I do not see in Reunion either. I opened the gedcom in Text Wrangler and searched the names of the old broken media file names and did not find them in the gedcom. But there is no way these links could get into TNG except through the upload of my Reunion gedcom. I'm at a loss as to where these broken media links are coming from.

    Thanks,

The broken links you see in TNG might be a result of having done GEDCOM imports in the past where the media weren't found at the expected location so TNG couldn't link to them.

Best bet might be to go to the Media section in your TNG Admin and delete all of the media records currently listed. Then in Reunion make sure that Reunion knows where all the images are, then create a new GEDCOM file and import that into TNG.

Also take a good look at this article on the TNG Wiki to ensure that your media files setup on your computer that Reunion is using matches to the setup that TNG is expecting.
