    How to increase JPEG resolution?

    Hello,

The "Save Graphic File..." feature on Charts creates PDFs that are super crisp, even when zooming in, but very grainy when saved as JPEG. But JPEGs are preferred in many contexts, like inlining photos in email or uploading to photo sharing sites like Google Photos.

I can't find any settings in Reunion to govern this. I was able to export to PDF and then use Preview to save it as JPEG, and end up with a JPEG of high quality. But this is a clumsy workflow and shouldn't be necessary.

Is this a bug? Or can the quality be improved? Or options provided?

    Thanks!

You can choose File ------> Open in Preview ------> Chart (or Chart with Border) to open the PDF File in Preview

Then in Preview you can Export... and then choose JPEG - there you can set the DPI and the Quality

If you will need to do this frequently, suggest that you look at an app named Snap Converter on the App Store. A quote from the App Store description that gives a quick read: "Snap Converter makes image and icon conversion easy. Just drag and drop to convert between many popular graphic formats. Convert bitmap graphics, Mac and Windows icons, Camera Raw images, Photoshop documents, and many other formats. You can even create multi-image Mac icon files from a single image." Current price is $4.99. (If you only do this occasionally, what Roger said....)
