    GEDCOM from FamilySearch

I have discovered that it is not possible to get GEDCOM information from FamilySearch unless the software is a partner with FamilySearch. Is there an alternative you have for getting the information from FS so it can be uploaded into Reunion and not have to individually type all of the information currently housed in FS?

FamilySearch doesn't allow you to download information in GEDCOM format, as you've found. Additionally, Reunion does not sync with FamilySearch - which is the only way FamilySearch allows you to get your data out of their website and into another application.

Unfortunately this means you will have to manually enter the data into Reunion, unless you go through another 3rd party application that syncs with FamilySearch and supports GEDCOM export.

Sorry I don't have better news,

Is there any hope that a future version of Reunion will sync with (or at least import from) FamilySearch, as many other genealogy apps are? It would be a fantastic help to people who find a lot of info here to enter into Reunion.

At this time we do not have any plans to implement syncing with FamilySearch.

As for what may happen in the future, we prefer not to speculate on that.
