    Linking Twins

    Hello,

I noticed that you can use Child Status to indicate twins. But is there any way to link the twins together? Eg, what if a couple has two sets of twins? How do you know what the pairs are?

    Thanks in advance!

The status of 'Twin' is just a notation. Only a birth date would show which is twin to another.

Yes, that's what I'm seeing. I just thought being able to link twins would be a natural thing for a family database to want to do. Fortunately, I agree that birth year pretty much removes ambiguity, so I'll be content with that!

Can I change Twin-Sensitive in the Child Status to just Twin?

Yes. If you are "not" wanting to see "Twin-Sensitive" as a child status for any Twin, choose Reunion -> Preferences and select Child Status. Next, uncheck the box in the "Sensitive" column for Twin.

Note: this will remove Sensitive from all children previously assigned that Twin child status.
