Add A Guardian?

I'm wondering how others indicate a relationship between a guardian and child. I have a situation where a child is listed in his grandfather's probate file as 'son of a deceased child of said Joseph'. I have no idea who the deceased child is, but the grandson is later mentioned in a court record where his uncle posts bond as guardian. I'm undecided about how to handle this.

I can probably 'add a father' and then indicate 'guardian' on the child status, but I'm wondering if there is a better way.
